Multiple Cinematographers w/ An Eye
Our cinematic films are shot by at least 2 cinematographers who have an eye for finding the subtle moments of your day. Any one can walk into your wedding with a camera and start recording. Good cinematographers love finding those little moments; like your dad seeing you in your gown for the first time, your grandma, who guided you through the years, saying a few words or giving you a family heirloom, or even the event crew making every detail perfect. These are the little moments that help build the emotion in the edit, where we can combine the 2 angles or choose the best shot creating the powerful experience our films are known for.
Our more extensive packages, have more cinematographers, which gives us the ability to be in more than 1 location, which equals more unique moments captured.
Magical Editing
Editing is where the magic happens, and our cinematic films, the longest being 30 min long, are truly magical (not to be confused with cheesy! We don’t do that!) because of the editing. Anyone can take footage and add some music, but a great editor knows that “perfect beginning”; it could be just one sentence of your best man’s speech that captures your love perfectly, it could be the way each of you say your vows to each other. It takes time to create an edit this nuanced, but we don’t treat your wedding like any other project. We find those moments, use them to keep the pacing so when you watch the film before you even realize it, you have lost track of time and your whole being is completely captivated into the experience. It is that powerful.
Your Story
It is a cliche thing to say, but everyone truly has a story to tell. We have been in filmmaking for years, and one of the biggest lessons we have learned is, to do your research! There is an important reason why we treat every wedding film like it is our best friend’s. Getting to know some little details about yourselves, like knowing your wedding date was on your dog’s birthday or finding out you have been high school sweet hearts directly affects the way we shoot your wedding and lets us be aware of finding little hints of your story in the editing room. A lot of companies completely overlook this aspect, but having this awareness makes your film that much more yours. It is this close attention to detail that lets us create a film that will be the most wonderful memory of your wedding years after.
