My own unique journey with filmmaking started when I was 14 y.o. At that time the love of my life was aggressive in-line skating. One day I happened to have my father’s 8mm video camera. Naturally I used it to film my friends and myself blading. After I created a little edit with some music I was hooked!
Throughout the years I’ve recorded hundreds of hours of video, and spent even more time editing creating videos of my friends and I skating, goofing off, and being young. Moments that would have probably faded away into memory are now captured on film.
I have since re-watched all of my videos over and over again. Sometimes just by myself, sometimes with my friends, and now with the love of my life, my wife, (who was able to see me as a goofy young kid), and each time I am moved because I am put into that moment like it is happening right now. I love watching these videos with my family and friends; we laugh, we cry, and we enjoy the moment. Eventually, years from now, I look forward to showing my daughter.
Video and filmmaking has played such an important role in preserving the beautiful memories of my life and I want to be able to share this passion with you; with your wedding film. To be able to capture beautiful and timeless images and edit them to your vows and speeches in a way that captures your heart and makes you love re-watching your film with your family and friends (possibly kids!) way into the future.
